Senior Full-Stack Engineer
Altamira (Pennsylvania, USA)
Altamira is a software development and consulting company that builds digital products for clients worldwide. Working here as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer has given me the opportunity to collaborate with international teams on diverse client projects, from healthcare and education to e-commerce and travel, delivering scalable, maintainable systems with a focus on reliability, auditability, and user experience. Some highlights:
- Transformed U.S. federal–state Medicaid eligibility processing from ~45 days to under 24 hours by automating financial data collection of user and family records using APIs, intelligent validations, and AI-assisted filtering, replacing largely manual workflows.
- Built a Claude Code development pipeline combining reusable project skills, automated hooks, focused subagent reviews, and context-aware re-review of changed code, reducing repetitive review work by ~30% and shortening implementation-to-PR turnaround by ~20%.
- Developed event-driven AWS microservices with SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, and Amazon RDS, using DDD to model complex workflows and Event Sourcing to maintain an auditable history of state changes.
- Accelerated project delivery by ~25% by designing scalable microservice architectures, standardizing reusable integration patterns, and building a shared UI library (Storybook, private npm).
- Directly improved conversion rates by ~15% by engineering and A/B testing resilient, white-label B2B/C booking flows for Alpy's e-commerce partners.
- Implemented EdPal, a digital learning platform that combined textbooks, assignments, grading, and communication, supporting both teachers and students with annotation tools (notes, recordings, drawings) for collaborative learning.
In this role, key highlights of my work include designing cloud-based, microservices-oriented deployments with containerization and orchestration, establishing CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and monitoring, and developing AI-driven modules for content analysis. The systems were built using event-driven patterns and load-balancing strategies to ensure scalability and reliability. On the frontend side, I delivered offline support with data synchronization, customizable UI options through an admin panel for business partners, audio/video recording capabilities, and interactive drawing features, while prioritizing performance, smooth animations, and SEO improvements.
Senior Full-Stack Engineer
ThisThat Ltd. (London, England)
Honored with two industry awards for excellence in influencer marketing technology 🏆
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at ThisThat, an award-winning London SaaS startup, I built the multi-tenant platform architecture behind a cross-platform product that transformed social survey data into actionable insights for advertisers, helping secure investment from four unicorn founders:
- Developed backend and front-end features for a B2B Analytics Platform, which won global Gold Awards for “Best Influencer Marketing Technology” and “Industry Choice of SaaS/Technology,” earning Best Tech recognition three consecutive years.
- Managed Azure infrastructure for a multi-tenant SaaS platform serving 200+ agencies, using Bicep, Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes to automate provisioning and deployments.
- Developed the Brand Lift feature across backend services and the UI, capturing feedback from 5,000+ social survey respondents and providing actionable insights that improved campaign effectiveness by 20%.
- Reduced time-to-insight by ~40% by engineering a real-time sync system that unified the B2B dashboard and end-user PWA, enabling instant campaign decisions.
- Built features across the platform's backend and front-end, including role-based access control (RBAC), secure tenant isolation, and multi-currency invoicing for 200+ global agencies.
This role spanned the full stack: Node.js and NestJS backend services, Angular and Progressive Web App (PWA) front-ends, real-time data synchronization, and Azure cloud infrastructure, working closely with product and design teams to deliver a responsive, data-driven SaaS platform.
Full-Stack Engineer
Trip.ir (Tehran, Iran)
While working for Trip.ir, an online booking platform, I served as a Full-Stack Engineer, helping design and build a new SaaS online travel agency platform for flight, hotel, and tour bookings. The platform enabled hotels and tour operators to manage their own CMS, update availability, and control pricing. For flights, it integrated with airline APIs and provided tools for creating and managing pricing rules within the application. The platform was built using a microfrontend architecture, enabling flight, hotel, and tour services to be developed and deployed independently while maintaining a unified user experience.
- Developed queue-driven workers for confirmation, cancellation, and amendment flows, with state tracking, retries, and dead-letter handling. Kept slow supplier responses from blocking checkout and reduced manual reconciliation by about six hours a week.
- Reduced booking failures from ~3.5% to under 1.5% through optimistic concurrency, idempotency keys, and pre-commit price and availability checks, preventing overbooking and duplicate reservations.
- Improved hotel search from ~2s to under 1.3s at peak through resilient supplier integrations, parallel calls, caching, and SQL indexing. Reduced page load times by ~40% through client-side rendering and asset optimization.
- Added automated tests for pricing, commission, and cancellation rules to CI, supported by deployment smoke tests, structured logging, and alerts for booking errors and supplier latency.
On the front-end, the platform was developed using Vue.js, with lazy loading, code splitting, and asset optimization to enhance performance. I built reusable UI components, responsive layouts, and optimized client-side rendering to ensure a smooth booking experience. In addition, I worked on an administrative portal featuring promotion code management and role-based access control to support daily operations and platform management.
Full-Stack Engineer
Maskan Bank (Tehran, Iran)
At Maskan Bank, a major bank supporting 15+ million users across 1,100+ branches, I worked as a Full-Stack Engineer in the mobile banking department, building and scaling the SuperPay Banking App.
- Developed mobile banking features for Android and iOS across the front-end and backend, connecting customer-facing workflows with API services and implementing authentication, authorization, and session controls.
- Integrated mobile banking services with core banking and internal systems, combining synchronous APIs with asynchronous messaging to keep transfers and payments consistent when downstream services failed or timed out.
- Helped improve production reliability through monitoring and alerting for API latency, errors, and integration health. Investigated critical incidents and optimized database queries and API bottlenecks, reducing average API response time by 35%.
- Contributed to shortening the release cycle from six weeks to two weeks through automated builds, testing, and standardized deployments for the Android and iOS apps and backend services.
- Participated in code reviews and shared implementation guidance with teammates to improve code quality and maintainability across the application.
Full-Stack Engineer
Navaco Information Technology Co. (Tehran, Iran)
During my time at Navaco Information Technology Co., I worked as a Full-Stack Engineer, focusing on nationwide transportation technology projects.
- Helped reduce congestion and improve highway traffic flow by up to 35% during peak travel seasons by advancing the Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) system for fast, secure, cashless payments nationwide.
- Contributed to a 25% improvement in operational efficiency by building the back-end (ASP.NET) and the front-end (Angular) for a national vehicle inspection platform handling 6,000–10,000 daily inspections.
